As a certified pet trainer and behaviour consult, only ethical scientifically based methodology are used. Our training allows you to remain in the convenience of your own home, while receiving the best available techniques to address you and your pet’s specific needs and challenges.
All training is done via game-based short training sessions that builds vital skills needed to allow your dog to be the best they can be. Click on the buttons below to find out more about each service.
Group Training
Training Classes that cover a range of basic obedience training and foundations of basic training. This is around other dogs and can also help those who need to work better around distractions. These also involve an outdoor class suited for those dogs who need to work on reactivity based behaviour or require a bit more space from other dogs than an indoor venue will provide. Running a foundation level for both puppies and adult dogs and then follow on membership classes to cover bronze, silver and gold levels.
Private Training
Training 1-1 sessions are for puppy and general obedience struggles.
Firstly a training consultation session needs to be booked which is used to discuss requirements, needs, specific problems in detail, management techniques, equipment use and specific training techniques to help address the training struggle. These 1-1 training consults are NOT for behaviour problems and addresses common training struggles such as pulling on lead, recall, jumping up, mouthing, chewing, calmness behaviours etc.
Reactivity Training and Behaviour Consults
Behavioural consultations address more complex and emotion based behaviours that can massively affect the welfare and relationship of our pets. These consults are either done online or in-person depending on the circumstance of the specific behaviour. All behaviour consultations require a behaviour questionnaire to be completed as well as confirmation of a full veterinary check completed beforehand.
Behaviour consult packages consist of the pre-consult, full consult and 2 follow ups (3 and 6 months) as well as behaviour report and ongoing support.
Social Walks
New for 2024!
Social walks are group walks where owners and dogs come along for an hours stroll in various areas around north somerset. There is one for nervous/reactive dogs (maximum of 4!) and one for general socialization (maximum of 6 dogs). These are free of charge and run on a booking system where it is first come. first serve. You will also be added to a whatsapp group to find out locations for each week. Though majority will be along weston or sand bay beach due to the openness of this.
